Sweet potato XO sauce

STREAT is delighted to be partnering with the Moving Feast Kitchen (part of the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market) to innovate, test and produce delicious long shelf life products from unsold produce from the market stallholders with a focus on dehydrating, preserving and fermenting.

One of the first products hitting the shelves is this vegan XO sauce, made from sweet potato. With the expertise of STREAT’s Eco-Chef, Chris Locke, we're delighted to have diverted 300kgs of sweet potatoes otherwise destined for waste streams. 

This umami laden sauce will add depth to any dish. Just a spoon will elevate your eggs, noodles, soups, grilled vegetables or fried rice. Get it while you can as it's a small batch gem that is won't be in stock for long.
